Popular Ghanaian disk jockey DJ Mensah has handpicked Ghanaian rappers Sarkodie and Gambo as the first Ghanaians who will bring a Grammy award home.
He was commenting on a post on Instagram by Ghanaian blogger Zion Felix who was asking which Ghanaian musician will be the first to bring home a Grammy.

The just ended 63rd Grammy awards ceremony saw two of Nigeria’s finest musicians, Wizkid Dayo and Burna Boy picking awards.
Their acheivement have sparked a debate in Ghana. Fans accused musicians of not doing enough. Musicians also fought back claiming lack of support.

While the fight continues, some celebrities like Efia Odo believe that very soon, Ghana will also win a Grammy although she doesn’t know who will bag it first.
DJ Mensah however believes Sarkodie and Gambo are well positioned to bring it home.
