The Head of Communications at Charter House, Robert Klah has explained why Shatta Wale was not nominated.

After Stonebwoy’s nomination in this year’s VGMA, people have been asking why he was nominated while Shatta Wale was ignored.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were banned after they fought during the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

While people are demanding answers, Mr Klah said the VGMA Board and Academy are willing to work with anyone who expresses interest in wanting to be part of the nominations.

He revealed that Stonebwoy was nominated because he showed interest but Shatta Wale did not.

“The scheme is in such a way that you need to show interest in order to be part. Once you show interest, we will work with you. The interest can be in the form that you are filing or giving consent. So, Stonebwoy showed interest and we worked with him,” Robert Klah told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz.
