Renowned Ghanaian legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has describes embattled musician, Shatta Wale as a very intelligent person.
The legal practitioner wanted Shatta Wale punished for his reckless shooting hoax which created fear and panic over the past two days but he quickly turn-around to commend the musician’s wit after reading his statement.

On Tuesday, Shatta Wale issued a statement from his hideout explaining why he had to go into hiding. He claimed his life was threatened by the prophecy from one Bishop Stephen Akwasi who is also in police custody.
Shatta blamed the police service for failing to act on the prophecy and to protect him leaving him with no choice but to act on the information he has.

“Shatta’s security should be important. His statement is a signal to the country. The police must not wait for things to happen, they must act before,” Lawyer Maurice Ampaw said on Neat FM after listening to Shatta’s side of the story.
Shatta Wale turned himself in on Tuesday evening and was taken into custody.
