After the coronavirus pandemic made it impossible for musical acts to put together concerts that will have their fans turn up in their numbers to have a good time, a new way to still their fan that fun time was supposed to be devised, as they say, necessity is the mother of invention

Lo and behold, the idea about hosting their concerts virtually, thus through the various social media platforms was a must.

While the whole idea started with top foreign acts, Ghanaian musicians also bought into it.

Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG) boss, Edem started the whole movement in Ghana with his virtual concert on March 29.

Just yesterday, M.anifest also gave his fans some top-notch performance from the comfort of his home with the virtual concert he named ‘Stay Home And Jam With Me’.

Even though the whole idea about virtual concerts in Ghana is still in its early days, it will not be entirely wrong to state that multiple award-winning Reggae/Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale has the bragging rights.

As at this morning, checks conducted by zionfelix.net reveals that more than 170K people have watched the concert barely 24 hours after it was streamed live.

While Edem has over 20K viewers as at this morning, M.anifest also had over 6k viewers.

Well, what this means is that out of the three top musicians who have done it so far, his numbers stand very supreme.
