Ghanaian artistes, Sony Achiba, has disclosed why he left Ghana for the United Kingdom.
He recalled the circumstances leading to his travel to the UK in an interview with ZionFelix in London.
The ‘Suro Nipa’ singer revealed he decided to relocate to the United Kingdom after doing a wrong investment.
In 2002-2003, Sony said he took money from some people to invest in a song—hoping he could get it back and pay them after promotion.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned.
According to him, a comment made by Fiifi Banson on Peace FM when the song was being played spoiled his promotional plans.
The producers he hoped to have on board expressed disinterest following Fiifi Banson’s remark that the song was not nice.
