Ghanaian musician cum dancer, Mr. Drew, has finally come out to react to all the backlash he has suffered on social media following his recent exit from Highly Spiritual Music.

During an Instagram live session, the ‘S3k3’ hitmaker revealed that contrary to claims that he is not cool with his former boss and CEO of Highly Spiritual Music, Kaywa, he does not have any issues with him at all.

He was quick to add that he does not know whether the award-winning record producer whose real name is David Kojo Kyei feels the same about him.

When the interviewer asked him if he had heard the supposed subtle shades Kaywa has been throwing at him in the interviews he has granted in the last few weeks, Mr. Drew responded by stating that a lot of people have drawn his attention to them.

Mr. Drew noted that even though people have been making the claim, he feels he is not the one the shades are for because he was a jewel for the record label because he is one of the last two who worked tirelessly to serve their full five-year contract when the other five they signed with left the label.

The Best New Artist award winner at both Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and 3Music Awards in 2021 added that even though a lot of the things stipulated in his contract were not given to him, he stayed on and did his best to give the label his all.
