Public figures in the entertainment space have for some time now added their voice to the calls on the president Akuffo-Addo government to legalize the growth, cultivation, and use of marijuana in Ghana.

The latest to add his voice to this call is multiple award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Livingston Este Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy.

At a recent press conference, he organized to tell the media his plans for the year 2020, he was heard pleading with the Government to legalize marijuana use in the country because it’s not harmful.

According to him, Ghana’s colonial masters and many other European countries who didn’t support the idea of its legalization initially, have now legalized it.

The Bhim Nation boss also noted that Ghana has more fertile lands which will make a decision to grow it in commercial quantities very profitable for the country.

While he was listing all the benefits, Stonebowy also expressed shock as to why a harmful substance like cigarettes has been legalized while a beneficial herb like marijuana is a band substance. le rather than the legalization of marijuana instead.
