Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has cried over the government’s decision to introduce additional tax following the ‘free water and electricity’ package.

If you would recall, President Akufo-Addo made this package for the vulnerable amid the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Months after the relief package, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed the country spent about GHS 19 billion on COVID-19 related issues during a recent discussion with Joy FM’s Evans Mensah.

He posited the need for Ghanaians to pay 1% extra tax.

On the heels of this Prince David Osei, who joined other public figures to campaign for Nana Akufo-Addo before the 20202 elections expressed his displeasure in a post Zionfelix.net came across.

He wrote on Facebook: “If we campaigned for #4More4Nana to do more on the premise of free water&electricity during the pandemic and we turn around to tax the people, then it makes some of us who championed the course look mindless!”
