Fast-rising gospel singer deaconess Mary Nana Sekyere has complained bitterly about how the industry she finds herself lacks love.

The minstrel in a one-on-one chat with Zionfelix on ‘Uncut’ bemoaned her seniors in the industry for failing to tsupport the the young ones coming up.

According to her, most of the seniors in the industry should train newbies to follow their footsteps but many of them are not doing so.

She stated emphatically without mincing words that “there is no love in the gospel music industry”. The deaconess further stressed that she cannot fathom why ministers of the gospel will find it so hard to support their colleagues when they are into soul winning for the Kingdom of God.

Asked how she wants other gospel artistes who’ve been in the music business for long to help the new ones, deaconess Mary Nana Sekyere who is known for the song “Mephibosheth” replied that the renowned gospel acts should perform songs of newbies when they are booked for shows.
