Emany, the budding musician who decided to snitch on Mr Drew to American actor and singer, Rotimi has finally disclosed the reasons for his actions many people have described as unnecessary and stupid.
In a chat with vlogger/blogger Sammy Kay on his ‘Go Online’ show, Emany stated that he asked Mr Drew when he saw the song on Youtube if he has gone through the necessary formalities before he monetized someone’s intellectual property.
According to him, even though he only meant well and expected that the right thing will be done, the Highly Spiritual signed musician decided to instead ignore and block him.
Emany added that as a result, he had no other option and rather than report the illegality to Rotimi, a move that saw the “Power” TV show star respond and take action within 40 minutes.
He also emphasized that Mr Drew should rather thank him for reporting him to Rotimi because he could have been sued for his action if the song got a lot of views which would have translated into a lot of cash.
