The number of coronavirus cases in Ghana has leaped from 834 to 1,042.

This latest update was given by President Akufo Addo during his 7th address to the nation on measures taken to fight against deadly coronavirus disease in the country today, Sunday, April 19, 2020.

The President added that there are additional 18,000 samples awaiting testing.

The Ghana Health Service is yet to provide this update on his website.
