The 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’ winner, Black Sherif has been trending in the last 24 hours following his successful concert in New York.

While a lot of music lovers have been applauding him for his ability to have hosted a sold-out concert at the Palladium Times Square in New York, others have been calling out the sensation musician because he has supposedly joined the Illuminati.

The claims that he has joined the Illuminati started after a Baphomet-like image was seen behind him during his performance at the concert on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

In the wake of the claims by social media users, an old interview of Black Sherif granted to GhanaWeb back in May 2022 has popped up in which he explained what the tattoo really means to him.

In the interview, he told GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar that the tattoo which looks like the Baphomet is the ‘Mountain Goat’.

Black Sherif added that the image to him represents perseverance.

“We climb any circumstance,” he said.

Blacko also disclosed that he has other tattoos which symbolize flames, bats, Kwaku The Traveller, and one to tell his mother how much he loves her.
