Popular Reggae/Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has finally reacted to all the reports suggesting that he assaulted one road contractor called Kennedy Acquah with some thugs from Nima yesterday after he was refused access to a road under construction.

Speaking with Andy Dosty earlier this morning on Hitz FM, Shatta Wale in a very angry manner blasted the media and all Ghanaians who have painted him black without listening to his part of the story.

He went further to clarify the allegation that he assaulted the road contractor, Kennedy Acquah.

According to him, the guys he brought were just supposed to halt the construction work because he requested to speak to their boss first.

However, some of the workers, which obviously included Kennedy decided to act as mini-gods and disobey and as a result, got assaulted by the guys who were with him.

Asked if there was any truth in the reports that he paid these contractors some Gh¢4M for the works on this stretch of road, Shatta Wale answered in the negative and pointed out that he was only fighting for his neighborhood as a responsible taxpayer.
