Contrary to claims that a renowned Ghanaian media personality, Greoge Quaye left his work at Menzgold because of the situation they got entangled in, the former employee of Multimedia Group has come out to set the records straight.

Menzgold was shut down back in 2018 by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

At the time, George Quaye was the Public Relations Officer for Menzgold and other agencies related to the company.

He worked with Menzgold for some time until the company was hit with some crises that led to its closure.

After it was closed down, a lot of changes took place at the firm and eventually, one of the top personalities who resigned was George Quaye.

After years of suffering backlash on social media or being a traitor, the CEO of Image Bureau has disclosed that he never left Menzgol out of an offer for himself but for his family.

He added that, because he wanted to protect his family from all the threats, he had no choice but to quit.

“Look, I left Menzgold because people started attacking my family. I didn’t leave Menzgold because I felt the heat was too much. Everyone has a certain level for their family. A certain level of love for your family. At the end of the day, it is not the fans that we go to; it is the family that we go to. At the end of the day, the fans will not be there”, he said.
