One of the major flagship policies of the current government of Ghana is the Planting for Food and Jobs.
A cross-section of Ghanaians however believe the policy is not doing well due to the high prices of food stuff in the country.
But in Accra where there isn’t much land for farming, someone is making use of the little strip of land available in the middle of the streets.
In a video posted by one netizen, the median strip of the road in front of the Ecobank Headquarters in Accra has been turned into a farm.
The ‘street farm’ is planted with maize in a straight line which shows it was planted intentionally.
No one knows who this “street farmer’ is but maybe when the maize is ripe, we would know.
