Legendary Ghanaian musician, Amakye Dede aka The Serious Man has disclosed how he has been able to sustain himself financially in the last few years even though he is not as vibrant as he used to be back in the 90s and early 2000s.
Speaking exclusively to Zionfelix at the launch of this year’s edition of the Afro Cruise Jam in Accra, Amakye Dede revealed that he has been stable financially because of the investments he made.

He added that what he come to realize when he was the toast of the town was that God has gifted him with a special talent so he had to make the best out of it while it lasted and those were the investment.
He revealed that currently, he has a big hotel in his hometown, Asante Akyem Agogo, and this hotel is bringing in some money.
Also, he has one of the biggest pubs in Agogo called the Abrantie Spot which is not doing bad either so financially he is very stable.
While listing the things he has so far, Amakye Dede for the first thing disclosed that he is planning to establish a much-bigger hotel that will be known as ‘The Village’ soon.
