Ghanaian rapper of the moment, Black Sherif has cleared the air on the timing of the release of his new hit.
Blacko released his new song, “Kwaku the Traveler” on March 30 and soon started topping charts.
The hit is not only topping charts, it also sparking controversy in the industry due to Blacko’s choice of lyrics.
“Kwaku the Traveler” talks about a young man finding his way around the “streets”, committing mistakes just like everyone but won’t give up.
The song comes at a time when the rapper is still recovering from some contractual issues with his management which has marred their relationship.
The situation has given critics the background to link the song to the rapper’s recent management woes.
But speaking on United Showbiz yesterday, Black Sherif said the song had nothing to do with the issue.
In actual fact, the song was written in January, long before his management issues happened.
