The founder of Ghana Music Awards UK, Alordia, has unleashed a scathing attack on entertainment journalist Kwasi Aboagye.

His anger is born out of the recent remarks made by the renowned media personality on his show that airs on Peace FM in connection to the claims made by Shatta Wale about the amount he took before he mounted the stage at the Ghana Music Awards UK 2023.

Alordia, while reacting to the things said by Akwasi Aboagye, vehemently denounced the latter’s comments made about the awards scheme as baseless, ludicrous, and a direct insult to the substantial investment made in organizing the event.

The host of Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review’ had expressed skepticism about the £80,000 payment reportedly made to Shatta Wale by the event organizers. He even urged the UK tax authorities to investigate the organizers over the sum they allegedly paid the musician.

Alordia, in response, lashed out at Aboagye, accusing him of speaking out of envy and malice. Alordia claimed that Aboagye had persistently pestered him for the past two years, requesting him to purchase a ticket for his travel to the UK. Alordia refused, suspecting Aboagye’s intentions were far from genuine.

“Kwasi Aboagye has been chasing me over the last two years to buy a ticket for him to come to the UK. But I refused because I knew he had no good intentions for me. He had invited me to his show three times, and anytime they invited me, they set me up. Listen to him and how he speaks; he talks out of hatred. I am an entertainment person, and when you want to set me up, you will not succeed. He hates me and does not mean well for me,” Alordia exclaimed during an interview on Rainbow Entertainment on Rainbow Radio 92.4Fm in the UK.

Alordia also challenged Aboagye’s credibility, questioning his authority to comment on the financial matters of the event. He emphasized that Aboagye’s comments were not only malicious but also unfounded, vowing to defend his reputation against such attacks.
