In the last few weeks, talented Highlife musician, Safo Newman has been in the trends because of his beautifully composed single, ‘”Akokoa”.
The song went viral after some respected people in the entertainment space, including the multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie shared it on their social media platforms to applaud him for the masterpiece.

Despite all the buzz he is enjoying, some naysayers have been trying to downplay his talent by bringing up his looks and how he does not supposedly look like a musician.
In a chat with Sammy Kay of Sammy Kay Media on his ‘Go Online’ show, the popular vlogger brought that question up.
In response to these criticisms, Safo Newman stated vehemently that his looks has no correlation to his talent as a musician.

The young music sensation added that he is naturally an introvert, which goes to show that he will not be out there all the the like others who are introverts.
Safo Newman went on to state that the likes of Adele are also introverts but that does not in any way hinder their craft as musicians.
