You might have known him as the leader of Life Power Miracle Church and probably, the former husband of gospel musician Obaapa Christy.

Well, Pastor Love Hammond is also a very prolific writer of gospel songs. He wrote many of the songs then Christiana Love sang to the admiration of lovers of gospel music and has written songs for many other people.

In a recent interview with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show, Pastor Love Hammond stated emphatically that the Ghanaian gospel music industry has collapsed.

According to him, most of the songs they produce now fall into the sea as soon as they finish launching it, stressing that unlike times past, it is very difficult to hear the names and songs of gospel musicians take over the airwaves.

Pastor Love pointed the many infightings in the gospel music industry as one of the major reasons why it has collapsed.

Asked how it can be rebuilt, Pastor Love stated it will take the mercies of God, the introduction of some new faces and the injection of a lot of capital
