The annual Christmas Festival of 9 lessons and carols which is organized by one of Ghana’s leading telecommunications network brands, MTN, came off on the night of Friday, December 21st, MTN at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair Centre.

The show was hosted by comedian Foster Romanus and like any MTN Festival of 9 lessons and carols, the night was filled with a mix of comedy, music, as well as the readings of the nine lessons and carols. The nine chosen Bible verses for this year were read by celebrities and business leaders which included Slip Music CEO Mark Okraku Mantey, Black Stars assistant manager Maxwell Konadu, celebrated lawyer Kofi Abotsi, among others.

After every Bible reading, a top Ghanaian music star joined the choir to cheer the crowd with a chosen carol. The biggest cheers of the night went up when Kuami Eugene, Kwesi Arthur, and Patapaa all came up on stage to perform. Kaakyire Kwame Appiah also spiced the night with his legendary Christmas song ’24 (Ko Wo Krom).
