On Saturday, October 9, 2021, President Akufo-Addo’s daughter, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo got married to the son of GIHOC Distillaries boss, Maxwell Kofi Jumah.
From the videos of the ceremony that has surfaced online, it was a pretty simple one and was well-attended.

One interesting part of the ceremony that has got a lot of social media users talking is the movement President Akufo-Addo asked his daughter if she truly wanted to marry Kwabena Jumah – a question she quickly answered in the affirmative.
This moment was soon followed by President Akuf-Addo’s decision to hit the dancefloor with his daughter, Edwina Akufo-Addo, and show off his dance moves.
While the president danced with his daughter, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo Rebecca Akufo-Addo was also captured dancing with her son-in-law, Kwabena Jumah.
