CEO of Black Avenue Music has assured Ghanaians that his record label signee Sefa is going to reach her potential and become an A-List artiste in Ghana within the year.
The rapper cum entrepreneur made this statement at the listening session of his newest EP “Smoke and Mirrors”
At the media briefing, DBlack explained why the other signees on his record label decided to leave the label.
According to him, Freda Rhymez was with the record label as part of a deal between Charter House and his group for the winner of the MTN HItmaker show and after her contract expired, they decided not to renew it.
He also said that Wisa, Dahlin Gage and Kobla Jnr have decided to explore other options in terms of management.
Currently Sefa is the only artiste on the label with two more expected to join her soon.
The “Obi ba” hitmaker stated that even though Sefa is not there yet, he has every confidence that within the year the “sugar” crooner will become an A-List artiste and his record label as well as the artiste herself will work extremely hard to make that happen.
