19-year-old singer Dede Supa has taken a swipe at award-winning singers Wendy Shay and Sista Afia by referring to them as slay queens.
Speaking in an interview with host Zionfelix on “Z News”, Dede Supa indicated that the aforementioned stars “sell their music in the slay queen style”.
When pushed to further to explain her comments, Dede Supa said they attracted that tag because of the way they dressed and their fashion choice for social media photos.
“Recently, Sista Afia posted a video on her Instagram page. Did you see her dressing? She was scantily dressed. That is her brand. She even calls her fans ‘slaynation’
Turning to Wendy Shay, Dede Supa said she also fell in the category of a slay queen during the shooting of her Kut It music video
Adding that Wendy Shay, per her lyrics, sees nothing wrong with being called a slay queen.
Supa then jumped over to talk about Fantana and made reference to how she appeared on stage recently.
Talking about herself, Dede Supa said she could not be classified as a slayqueen because she was properly dressed.
