Ghanaian actor and comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng popularly known as Funny Face has lashed out at his celebrity friends for ignoring him after he was beaten and manhandled by officer and the Ghana police service a few days ago.
In a video sighted by zionfelix.net on the comedian’s Instagram page, he called celebrities who didn’t sympathise with him after his encounter with the police “fake a$$ niggas”.
Funny Face recounted how most of them threw their support behind George Floyd, a black man that was murdered by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota a year ago. His death sparked a series of demonstrations across the world against police killings.
According to Funny Face, those celebrities insulting and attacking him and those who are silent on his incident are hypocrites.
He added that no one can stop his shine because if they bring him down a thousand times, he will be back stronger than before.
