Efya has hit back at her critics.

The Ghanaian singer recalled the chastisement channelled her way after featuring a Gospel artiste.

She was unhappy about the criticism when speaking with Berla Mundi on TV3’s The Day Show.

Efya said her critics do not know the Bible more than her.

She disclosed that she attended a Bible school.

“I did a song with the gospel artist, and they came at me and her, asking why she would collaborate with a secular artist like me. This is what I’m talking about.

“What’s that about? Can I not do gospel music? Are we serious? I am a Child of God. What are you saying? I have the power in me. I went to Bible School. You can’t know Bible more than me,” Efya stated.

She added that it’s not the best for secular artistes to be seen as the devil.

The popular singer also expressed her disappointment in the people who focus on the negative without acknowledging her achievements.
