Ghanaian renowned blogger Ameyaw Deborah has rekindled a war that has existed for a long time but have died down for a while now.

The blogger has thrown his weight behind dancehall artiste Stonebwoy as the best when it comes to the Ghanaian dancehall music scene.

Many danceable artistes have claimed they are the best when it comes to the category but when it comes to who is more connected in the dancehall industry, Ameyaw believes that Stonebwoy is far ahead of all of them.

Shatta Wale has claimed on several occasions including in his songs that his the King in the dancehall genre. The “Gringo” hitmaker even have a song titled “Dancehall King”.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are the two fierce contenders when it comes to who is the face of Ghanaian dance Hall but Ameyaw believes even Shatta Wale doesn’t come close, not to talk of the rest, some of whom are still coming up but claim they are the best.

Ameyaw even went ahead to acknowledge the fact that his decision to choose Stonebwoy over other artistes in the industry can spark hatred from other artistes and their supporters but it didn’t bother him which means he knows what he is doing.

His remarks comes after Stonebwoy released visuals of his “Motion” track which featured Jaimacan singer Jahmiel and was on the “Angola Junction Album”.

Considering his no-nonsense nature, Shatta Wale can reply Ameyaw Debrah or even call him out in a song but considering the fact that Ameyaw is his friend, you can’t be too sure. Let’s see how this plays out.
