Since the government of Ghana banned all public gatherings including conferences, workshops, funerals, festivals, political rallies, church activities and other related events as part of measures to stop the spread of corona virus in the country.

 A lot of Ghanaians are not happy with the fact that they cannot gather as believers to worship and praise their maker with the faith that if believers cry onto their GOD, He can turn the situation around.

Joe Mettle in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra Fm’s midmorning show dubbed Ayekoo Ayekoo on Friday 10th April cautioned the general public to draw more closer to God in this pandemic times because is a sign of end time.

He further explained that we have been living in the end time for a while now and therefore urged believers to live a Godly life and also advised that even though there is a ban on social gathering , believers can still worship and pray in their various homes in other not to allow the ban affect their relationships with God.

Joe Mettle finally advised believers not to insult men of God or mount pressure on them for not been able to do anything about this virus killing thousands of people across the globe.

At the meantime, President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended the partial lockdown in some parts of the country including Accra and Kumasi for one more week beginning Monday, April 13, 2020.

In the President 6th address since the outbreak of the virus, he said, “The decision has to be taken in accordance with law to extend the restriction by one more week.”
