Popular singer and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, found himself at the center of a net worth controversy when a fan claimed that he was worth a modest $5 million.

The claim arose in a post where the fan commended Mr. Eazi for his low-key wedding to billionaire Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi Otedola, insinuating that this simplicity shows how Mr. Eazi can be humble even though he arguably has a lot of money.

In the post, the fan praised Mr. Eazi’s choice of a private ceremony, contrasting it with individuals who, in their opinion, were not as wealthy but opted for extravagant weddings. The netizen wrote, “Mr. Eazi’s net worth is around $5 million dollars. He just quietly married Otedola’s daughter. We no even know. Na because of his new song wey he release and the wife use style announce am, na how we take know. But you wey no get up to 2 million home and abroad, you want to host one in town wedding with your wife that is still a second-year student who doesn’t have money for departmental dues.”

Mr. Eazi swiftly responded to the claim, expressing his vehement disagreement with the estimation. He went on to assert that his net worth is substantially higher than the $5 million figure suggested by the netizen. In his response, Mr. Eazi did not mince words, deeming the claim “erroneously disrespectful.”

In a firm tone, Mr. Eazi corrected the fan and issued a warning, stating, “The Evil Genius’s net worth is not $5 million; that’s erroneously disrespectful! Please correct yourself before I sue you for defamation!!”

Apart from defending his financial status, Mr. Eazi also took the opportunity to promote his latest musical venture. He mentioned his new album, titled ‘The Evil Genius,’ which is currently making waves in the music industry. This statement serves as a reminder that he is not only a talented musician but also a shrewd entrepreneur with a growing list of accomplishments to his name.
