Ghanaian highlife musician, Terry Boamah, well known as Dada Hafco, has advised young musicians not to disrespect musicians who paved the way for them.
In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the ‘Are Your Boyfriend’s Girlfriend’ composer said it is not proper for young musicians to call these pacesetters wack or poor.
He explained the fact that these musicians do not fit the narrative of today’s music agenda doesn’t mean they are wack or broke.
Dada Hafco emphasized the need for them to uplift greatness.
He wrote on Facebook: “Never tell an artiste who accumulated much respect and money before your time that he’s wack or broke, just because he doesn’t fit the narrative of today’s music agenda…….!! Just uplift greatness #AreYouYourBoyfriendsGirlfriend #HighlifeMusic #DadaBeesEmpire.”
