Young Ghanaian female Disc Jockey, Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh, well known as DJ Switch, has sent a reply to people who have questioned her winning capability after the just ended 2019 Ghana DJ Awards.

A section of Ghanaian social media users, entertainment critics and others believe she didn’t deserve to be crowned as the Best DJ of the Year.

In a rebuttal to this, DJ switch told Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’ that she worked very hard to attain this fate.

The youngster argued how hard she kept pushing after she won the Discovery DJ of the Year award. According to her, she used it as a guard to work harder and that guaranteed the four nominations which led to her biggest win as the Best DJ of the Year.

When she was asked whether her performance in the Year under review outweighed his compatriots in the same category, DJ Switch answered it is the doing of her God.

“The other nominees are Senior DJs but I think I got the award because of God. I prayed and talk to my God that I want the Best DJ of the Year and my God granted me the wish,” she said.

DJ Switch beat DJ Mic-Smith, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly, DJ Aroma and DJ Black to win the Best DJ of the Year award in a ceremony which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

DJ Switch, who has exchanged pleasantries with American business magnate-Bill Gate, France President, Emmanuel Macron and other prominent personalities rose to fame after she won TV3’s Talented Kids in 2017.
