Award-winning rapper, Medikal known in real life as Samuel Adu Frimpong, has sided with Akufo-Addo’s silence on the happenings that have erupted in Nigeria following #EndSARS protests.

Medikal was responding to calls being made by many celebs for President Akufo-Addo to speak or intervene in the unfortunate situation.

He indicated that the fact that Akufo-Addo had not made a post on social media about the issue at hand, did not mean he was not acting on it in his own way.

Medikal’s comments follow widespread calls on Akufo-Addo who is the chairman of ECOWAS to speak on the matter.

Some celebrities, including Nana Aba Anamoah, Lydia Forson, Yvonne Nelson, Sandra Ankobiah, called on Akufo-Addo to speak.

However, Medikal has said that the president’s silence does not mean that he is not working behind closed doors.

To him, Buhari is the one who must be held responsible for what is going on and not Akufo-Addo.

Medikal stated that nobody should blame the president for Buhari’s incompetence.
