Outspoken Ghanaian broadcaster cum entrepreneur, Bridget Otoo has fired the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 as she adds her voice to the many currently on Twitter demanding the release of Akuapem Poloo from police cells.

Her actions follows earlier reports which suggest that Akuapem Poloo has been convicted by the Accra Circuit Court.

Poloo’s convictions follows her decision to plead guilty to all three charges when the court presided over by Judge Christina Cann was in session on Wednesday, April 14, 2021

Her offense is the alleged abuse of her son with her nakedness when the little boy was celebrating his 7th birthday in the year 2020.

After the ruling became public knowledge there has been serious social media outcry for her release because many think the decision by the court was too harsh.

Amidst all the reactions, Bridget Otoo also took to her Twitter time to call for her release and cited the case of NAM1 as a major reason why Akuapem Poloo should be freed.

According to her, if NAM1 is out there sharing stuff on social media despite being described by the state as a scammer and causing the loss of many lives, Poloo deserves better.

Her tweet sighted by zionfelix.net reads: “NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide.”
