Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie has reacted to the conviction of popular social media sensation, Akuapem Poloo by the Accra Circuit Court.

The boss of Sarkcess Music took to his Twitter timeline to add his voice to the thousands who are currently calling on the courts to temper justice with mercy with the hashtag #FreeAkuapemPoloo.

Sarkodie in a tweet said that it would be very harsh on the part of the court to jail Akuapem Poloo and separate her from her only son over the mere fact that she uploaded a supposed n*de photo online when his son turned seven last year.

He prayed the Circuit to pardon her for the crime.

“I think it’s a little harsh to separate a child from the mum just because of pictures taken … would want to plead with the law to pardon our sister #FreeAkuapemPoloo,” he tweeted.
