Ghanaian musician, Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, well known as Epixode, has confirmed a statement made by Shatta Wale that he is mentally challenged.

Some months ago, the Shatta Movement boss revealed Epixode has a mental problem after he stated that the ban placed on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy following their fracas at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was a blessing in disguise because it will pave way for other musicians to be seen and heard.

“Sometimes he has a mental problem…he is my son…I talk with him every day, the last time I spoke with him was three weeks ago, he is not stable. There is something wrong with him,” Shatta Wale divulged.

Reacting to this in a recent interview on TV Africa’s Video Ryde program sighted by Zionfelix.net, the ‘Wahala Dey’ composer confirmed he is not normal.

Epixode stressed that he is mad—and that is the reason why he does a lot of stuff in his music videos which are not the regular things that people see.

He added that people should understand that he is not normal and his madness influences him not to write the regular kind of songs they know.
