Award-winning Gospel artiste, Ohemaa Mercy has waded into the fray about Gospel musicians featuring secular musicians.
Recently, Celestine Donkor revealed how she was chastised for featuring Efya and Akwaboah on her new song ‘Yadawase’ (Thank You).
According to her, some Christian media channels even declined to play the song.
Reacting to this in an interview with MzGee on TV3 which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Ohemaa Mercy said she cannot condemn Celestine Donkor for featuring these musicians or her style of evangelism.
However, the renowned Gospel musician questioned what’s next after the evangelism and what these people will show.
According to her, that is what the Christian fraternity is debating on.
Ohemaa, who is currently promoting her latest track dubbed “Ote me mu’ disclosed that Kwabena Kwabena who is considered a secular artiste wrote part of the song (2nd song Kwabena is writing for her).
She added that she is certain that Kwabena Kwabena will preach the gospel, a notion, she claims Kwabena agrees to.
