Commentaries on the Presidential debate prior to the 2020 Elections have not ceased after Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not show the interest of participating.
While some people are commending them for such a decision, others think it was a wrong move.

Those who are defending Nana Akufo-Addo points back to when Ex-President John Dramani Mahama did not partake in the debate when he was in power.
Sharing his thought on the debate, artiste manager and entertainment analyst, who is also a member of the National Democratic Party (NDC), Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog has given a hint on why the sitting President expressed disinterest in the debate.
In a post Zionfelix.net sighted on Facebook, Bulldog stated that Mr John Mahama is on top of issues when you listen to him.
Bulldog indicated that it may be the reason why President Akufo-Addo is afraid to have a debate with him on issues.
