Ghanaian comedian and teacher, Michael Owusu Afriyie, well known as Teacher Kwadwo, has lamented the challenges in the educational sector.

He told ZionFelix in an interview on the ‘Uncut’ Show that he sometimes sits in the classroom and weep for his students.

Teacher Kwadwo mentioned how the children are suffering.

He stressed that it’s wrong for the Ghana Education Service to make certain rules by using the cities as a benchmark.

Textbooks that teachers will use to teach are not even available, according to him.

While the children of the leaders in Ghana had the opportunity to study through Zoom, he questioned if those in the village had the same opportunity during the lockdown.

Teacher Kwadwo said he is passionate about the teaching profession, so he won’t keep mute about the challenges.

He added that his outcry is not political because the Ghana Education Service is not for any political party.
