Ghanaian sound engineer, Wei Ye Oteng has been heavily criticized after he stated that the Kumerica trend has no future.
Oteng took to his Facebook page to express his view on the movement and pointed out how those pushing the Kumerica trend have failed to project it to make a significant impact.
He wrote: “Kumerica has no future Is dead on arrival because it was never thought through. We could have done it better by projecting us and not confusing ourselves. Confuse boys. #Otengbeats #WYO #Obrafour #drumlyneent #TheSmoke #behindthesmoke.”
His post attracted a lot of reactions—and most of the comments were insults targeted at him. Some of these people who disagreed with him tagged him as a hater.
The latest person to react to his assertion is Kumawood actor, Bernard Aduse-Poku, well known as Koo Musuo.
Rebutting to Oteng’s post, Koo Musuo asked him to keep mute if he has nothing positive to say.
He replied in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net: “If you got nothing positive to say about this whole Kumerica wave, SYBAFMU!!! You mean NOTHING to the wave!!”
