Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has opened up about her relationship status and her outlook on marriage, saying she is currently focused on maintaining her peace of mind rather than rushing into settling down.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on OKay FM, she confirmed that she is single and reflected on why she has not yet taken steps toward marriage.
According to her, personal peace remains a priority, and she does not see marriage as a measure of spiritual success or fulfilment. She explained that while love plays an important role in relationships, it is an action-driven commitment and not the only factor people should rely on when deciding to marry. She also pointed out that appearances on social media can be misleading, noting that many couples who seem perfect online eventually separate.

Nikki Samonas added that she applies the same thinking to life milestones in general, stressing that neither childbirth nor marriage should be treated as benchmarks for reaching heaven or achieving ultimate approval. For her, what matters most is living with a clear mind and emotional stability.
She also shared her perspective on dating, describing it as a pleasant experience. Although she has never been married, she said she enjoys dating and can only speak from that perspective for now. She added that if she eventually marries, she would then be in a position to compare both experiences and speak more fully about the differences.
