Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah has reacted strongly to comments made by radio presenter Nana Romeo, following his recent interview with Nikki Samonas.
The discussion, which has since sparked conversations across social media, centered on Nikki’s stance on marriage and childbirth. In the interview, the actress boldly stated that having children is not a prerequisite for salvation, stressing that “having children isn’t a ticket to heaven.” She also noted that she finds the excitement in dating more appealing than rushing into marriage.
However, it appears some of the commentary that followed did not sit well with Vicky Zugah. Taking to the comment section of a post by ZionFelix, the actress questioned Nana Romeo’s persistent interest in people without children.
“Romeo always seems to be bothered about people without kids. Will you buy them baby food and diapers or you will babysit and pay their fees?” she quizzed.

Her response has since gone viral, with many social media users weighing in on the ongoing debate about societal expectations surrounding marriage and childbirth.
For years, Nikki Samonas has maintained that she will only have children after marriage and refuses to bow to pressure from society.
Her recent comments have once again reignited conversations about personal choice, independence, and cultural expectations.
