American comedian of Ghanaian descent, Michael Blackson, has revealed he will be taking a career break in 2024.
He announced this in a tweet.
The 50-year-old actor indicated that he will be coming out with his own movie before taking the break.
Michael wrote: “2023 I’m promising ya my own movie, a sitcom and a stand up special. By the Grace of God in 2024 i’m taking a break.”

His career break announcement comes after he commissioned the school built in his hometown.
Commenting on the building of the school, which will be free for people to attend, he said the day of the school commissioning was the greatest in his life.
He tweeted: “Today is the greatest day of my life because I’ve finally accomplished what I always wanted to do which is giving these kids a chance to be great. Greatness starts with education and foundational education shouldn’t come with financial barriers.”
The popular comedian has been praised for his gesture.
