Fast-rising Ghanaian singer and rapper, Bashir Annan, affectionately called Gambo decided to gift boxer Ayitey Powers Ghc1000 when they met at the studios of Peace FM on Tuesday afternoon.
Gambo did this after he had a rather heartbreaking story Ayitey Powers shared about his life during the live broadcast of the radio show on Okay FM which was hosted by Abeiku Santana.
Explaining why he did what he did, Gambo stated that he had chills and goosebumps all over his body as he heard Ayittey Powers talk about the painful things he has gone through, and as such, he decided to offer him that small token.
Receiving the money, Ayitey Powers thanked and prayed for Gambo and asked God and his late spiritual father, Prophet T.B. Joshua to bless Gambo beyond measure and make his music cross many borders.
