Nii Kpakpo Thompson Finally Speaks About His Dismissal From TV3’s ‘Date Rush’ Show

The former host of TV3’s Date Rush, Nii Kpakpo Thompson has revealed why he will no longer be hosting the show for the fifth season.

His reaction comes at the back of questions social media folks have been asking him online after it emerged during the launch of the season five last night that Giovani Caleb will be the new host.

While a lot of the folks online have been blasting TV3 for the decision, Nii has decided to be modest in his reaction to the news about his sack.

In a tweet seen on his timeline, Nii Kpakpo disclosed that there’s no bad blood between himself and the TV3.

He however disclosed that he was no longer on the show because the producers decided to go with someone else. 

Nii Kpakpo Thompson’s full tweet read:

“I have received loads of questions from every corner about me not being on #daterush. Unfortunately, this season, the producers decided to go with another host. I’ll see you guys on another platform. I love you all.”
