Popular Ghanaian media personality and DJ, Ohemaa Woyeje has dispelled reports alleging that musician Okomfour Kwadee’s various mental health challenges he has had in the last few years are because he loves to smoke weed.

She shot down the assertions when she appeared on UTV’s United Showbiz show on Saturday, May 18, 2024, when panel members were speaking about the recent viral video that showed Kwadaa performing in front of a crowd at his father’s hometown somewhere in Bolgatanga.

In the video that has gone viral, Okomfour Kwadee was not looking his best self, and many netizens who saw the video expressed worry about how the super-talented musician looked.

Revealing what she knew about the awkward situation Kwadee was seen in, the award-winning DJ disclosed that Kwadee is currently in his father’s hometown because the father was trying to get him help through spiritual means.

She added that things were going quite well because the dad was there to ensure that Okomfour Kwadee was checked at every point in time; however, the father, unfortunately, passed away just last month, which resulted in the scenes seen in the viral video.

The Angel FM Accra mid-morning show host emphasized that as a team that has been working with Okomfour Kwadee over the years, they have come to the conclusion that all these are spiritual because the “Efie Nipa” hitmaker mostly looks very ok, but as soon as someone brings a show to them, then he gets these types of relapses.

Ohemaa Woyeje stated emphatically that they were sure that it had nothing to do with weed because it is something the musician has smoked for a long time.
