Mingle X Campus Connect, a new radio program to highlight social activities at the various tertiary campuses is set to air on Zylofon 102.1 FM on Saturday, December 9.
The weekly show which will be hosted by Felix Akakpo, a photographer at Zylofon Media and former Cape FM Morning Show co-host, is designed to give listeners an in-depth insight into music, movies, poetry, drama and comedy.
It will also serve as platforms for young entrepreneurs to share their stories.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz correspondent Pep Junia on Tuesday, Akakpo, a BSC Actuarial Science graduate of the University of Cape Coast, said the initiative will also cover major event happenings on Campuses.
“Campus Connect will pay attention to tertiary institutions in the country.It will inform, educate and entertain listeners every Saturday from 1 pm to 3 pm.
“It will tackle various topics including relationships, time management, entrepreneurship, examination Malpractices, Fashion and trending issues students love to hear, ” he said.
Sponsored by Mingle X, a social media platform, the radio program will give listeners the opportunity to hear their top 10 songs every week by voting for their favourite artists.
“Our mission is to serve listeners with good entertainment for their relaxation, ” Felix Akakpo said.
