Actor Sumsum Ahoufe has jumped to the defense of his colleague Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin amid the backlash he is facing online following his recent accident that sadly led to the death of a 3-year-old boy at Amakom in Kumasi.

After the accident, a lot of issues have come and many netizens have chastised Lilwin and his team for how they have specially handled their communication on the issues.

Many people raised issues with some press statements released by the PR of Wezzy Empire.

Amid all the concerns that were raised online, one of the family members of the three-year-old who lost his life in an accident granted an interview and stated categorically that they were going to fight for justice.

In the interview on Angel FM, the uncle of the deceased young boy warned that they should not be taken for granted because their family was not poor and as such they cannot be bullied.

Reacting to this statement from the Uncle, Sumsum in an interview with Poleeno Multimedia’s Fresh Boy Papa Jay said that the the remarks of the former was very unnecessary.

He made the argument that there is no way Lilwin would intentionally crash his new car with the quest of k!lling anyone as the uncle of the boy is trying to suggest.

Sumsum Ahoufe further shot down the allegations that Lilwin was drunk when the accident happened and asked if anyone including the uncle of the deceased young boy can provide any evidence to that effect in invites to court.

Currently, LilWin has been granted GH¢50,000 a bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court in Kumasi when the case was called on Monday, June 3, 2024, following an earlier arrest.

The court has adjourned the case to June 27, 2024.
