The upsurge in the prices of hand sanitizers is currently a huge topic on many social media platforms.
Many shop owners with hand sanitizers have decided to hoard the price because the demand for it has increased drastically.
This rather strange happening has seen public figures like Nana Aba Anamoah, Micheal Oti Adjei lash out at these sellers for being such greedy bunch of people.
The latest to also add this voice to this happening is the host of Accra FM’s ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’ mid-morning show, Nana Romeo.
In a video zionfelix.net sighted online, he offered some advice to the government on how best they can deal with the menace.
According to him, the President Akuffo-Addo led government should take a part of the $100 million dollars they have set aside to fight the spread of the virus and give to people who can readily get these sanitizers and other product needed to protect people against coming into contact with the disease so that they will be easily available on the market.
He added that the prices should also be made affordable once they are available so they people can buy, use and not be too afraid of the disease as it is currently causing a lot of fear and panic.
