Sammy Flex, the Manager of Shatta Wale, has reacted to a statement issued by Wave Africa after the artiste was stopped from performing at the Jean Topp Nelson Yankah Hall at the University of Ghana.

Wale’s performance, which was to come off on June 8, 2024, was cancelled.

In a statement released by Wave Africa, the organizers detailed why Shatta Wale’s performance was cancelled.

They cited an “order from above” as the reason following the Dean of Students’ office announcing the cancellation of the event on Friday, June 7.

Reacting to the statement in a Facebook post, Sammy Flex was not impressed.

He asserted that those with sound minds shouldn’t believe in the “order from above” excuse.

Sammy Flex said that people who believe in this need mental growth.

Shatta Wale’s manager further stated that he is curious to see how insightful readers will react after reading Wave Africa’s statement.
