Talks about the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in the media space is one which is not ending anytime soon largely because of the big blow landed on the integrity of the prestigious awards scheme due to the brawl of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

One other episode on the night aside the aforementioned one was the crowning of Kuami Eugene as the next chap to take Highlife Music to the world. While many people have suggested that it was probably staged by the organizers, the communication director of Charter House, George Quaye has come out to give some clarity to the issue.

Speaking with Zionfelix exclusively on the ‘Uncut’ show recently, the renowned media person stated that it was a part of the performance of the legendary musician, Amakye Dede and the super talented Lynx Entertainment signee.

He added that Kiki Benson of Palm Media, who was part of the people they roped in to help give patrons of the show an unforgettable night added it to the stagecraft of Amakye Dede.

George Quaye stressed that even though it looked like a rehearsed act, he would not be surprised of Abrantie Amakye Dede suggested that they do so because on numerous occasions he has not hidden the admiration he has for Kuami Eugene.
